A 30 year old man, Asare Samuel has drown in River Tano.

The incident according to reports gathered by Filasconews.com occured on Thursday at Tanoso in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region.

The body of the deceased, Asare Samuel is yet to be found from the river.

Narrating what happened to this portal, eye witness, Isaac Amoah a.k.a Ike said, on Thursday, 20th October, 2022, he saw the deceased Asare Samuel standing at the shores of the river.

When he(eye witness) was getting nearer to him, the deceased (Asare Samuel) jumped into the river.

All efforts by the witness to getting him out from the river yielded no results.

Members of the Tanoso community after hearing the news moved in their numbers to the scene but the river has taken Asare Samuel away.

Assembly member of Tanoso community, Hon. Emmanuel Asamoah popularly known Hon. ECAS speaking to newsmen on Thursday at the shores of the river said, rescue team have been called to retrieve the body from the river.

But a check by Filasconews.com on today, Saturday October 22, 2022, has revealed that, the body of Asare Samuel has still not been discovered by the rescue team.

“Rescue team are still on the river to find the body but they are yet to retrieving the body”, eye witness told this portal.

The body has been in the river for three days now and still counting as all efforts by to finding the body prove futile.
