Angry assembly member for Praso Electoral Area in the Asante Akyem Central of the Ashanti Region has stated that, there will be no vote in his electoral area if government fails to construct their road and construct portable water for them.

According to Hon. Michael Darkwah, the people within the electoral area will not vote without witnessing a portable drinking water and a constructed road in the communities.

He said the communities with the support of their chiefs are doing their best to lifting up development in the area but need government support to do more.

Hon. Michael Darkwah said this on Community Watch Show on Kings Radio hosted by Krobea Asante.

He opined that they need urgently need boreholes because human beings share their only river with livestock.

He elaborated that, road from Praso to Konongo is in a deplorable state. The situation according to him has made transportation of farm produce to town difficult.

“My people are finding it difficult to bring their goods from farm to town, as a matter of that, their farm produce are rotting in the bush”,Hon. Darkwah stressed.

The assembly member on behalf of the people has therefore urged their MP, Hon. Kwame Anyimadu Antwi and the DCE Hon. Robert Yaw Kwakye to intervene.
