An aspiring chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Atiwa East Constituency in the Eastern Region, Adenyo-Ableode Francis has said they need a visionary chairman who can work hard to bag more votes for the party come elections 2024.

The polling stations he said are; Nana Pa, Awosuoase, Osoroase, and Senkyiwaa among other polling stations during the 2020 general elections.

He added that chairman Owusu Ntsim is eyeing to become Atiwa East DCE if NDC comes to power in 2025 instead of dreaming big of a ministerial, CEO, or Board Chair position for NDC members in the area, he is fighting for his personal interest however such person does not deserve to be a leader.

Against this background, he pointed out his intention to contest the chairmanship race .

Adenyo-Ableode Francis who made this known while speaking to Tv xyz and power fm news Reporter Emmanuel Adjetey, added that should delegates vote him as their Chairman, he will bring back all the old members who have been neglected by the current constituency leadership and work hand in hand with them to ensure NDC gained its lost glory in Atiwa East.

The NDC’s constituency executive elections is scheduled to come off on October 22 and 23, 2022 respectively.

To add, the incumbent Vice Chairman, Freeman Boateng Isaac who is seeking reelection also reiterated that they indeed need peace in the party because NDC is a peaceful political party.
