The Mankessim Divisional Police Command in -collaboration with Central Regional Police Command have arrested Nana Clark Onyaa who connived with a pastor and k!lled a 25 year old nurse, Georgina Asor Botchwey and buried her inside the chief’s kitchen at Mankessim.
Tufuhene of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Onyaa were no where to be found after he had information that his accomplish has been arrested yesterday, Tuesday, September 20,2022 in connection with the murder of the student nurse.
But, the police through intelligence arrested the prime suspect Chief on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in his girlfriend’s house at Ekumfi Akwakrom Hill top.
Information gathered indicated that, Nana Onyaa and the Pastor who doubles as the deceased Sister’s boyfriend first demanded Ghc15,000.00 from the family before the lady will be released.
Police says after the family failed to pay the amount, the Chief and the Pastor killed the lady , buried her inside the chief’s Kitchen and used some of her body parts for rituals.
In an interview with Power Fm/Tv xyz news, the Central Regional Crime Officer Chief Superintendent David Gyabaa confirmed the arrest and disclosed that both suspects are in the custody of the Regional Police Comman.
Meanwhile, some angry residents of Mankesim are calling on the police to strip the Chief and Pastor(suspects) n@ked and order them to roam about the Mankess township before court proceedings and punishment.
