One dead, several others injured on Sefwi Dwenase-Kumasi highway accident
A head on collision has claimed one life leaving several others injured on the Sefwi Dwenase – Kumasi highway.
A sprinter bus with registration number AS 9847-22 was en route Kumasi from Sefwi Dwenase, and a Toyota Taxi cab with GX 8483-20 as its registration number was heading to Bekwai from Bibiani crashed with one person dying instantly from the taxi.
Several others were injured in the process from both vehicles.
An eye witness by name JK said the taxi driver was trying to overtake a tricycle which was heading from Bibiani to Sefwi Bekwai and met the sprinter on its lane and got crashed.
Adehyeɛ FM’s Kwamina Fynn reports the deceased, a resident of Bibiani has been deposited at the Bibiani Government Hospital while the injured are receiving treatment at same hospital.
