A/R: Driver including several others dead in a fatal accident at Ajamesu | PHOTOS
A fatal accident that occured at Ajamesu on the Kumasi-Obuasi highway has claimed several lives.
Several others have also injured. The accident involves a Sprinter Bus and a Long Vehicle.
The accident happened on Wednesday, 7th September, 2022, around 4:45pm.
Reports gathered by Filasconews.com indicate that, the driver of the Sprinter Bus, Opanyin Akwasi died on the spot together with several others.
According to the reports, the Sprinter Bus, loaded at Racecourse, onboard with passengers with heading to Manso and its environs developed fault at Ajamesu and the driver parked for checkup.
Unfortunately, a Long Vehicle coming from Obuasi ran through the stationed Sprinter, killing the driver and other passengers.
The deceased have been deposited at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The injured have also been conveyed to the same health facility for treatment.
Police have began investigation into the incident.
