The Chairman of the Liberal Party of Ghana in the Ashanti Region says the termination of the NABCO programme will be a disaster for the youths in Ghana.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mr Kwaku Marfo has asserted that, the National Builders Corps (NABCo) programme that has come to an end is a disaster.
The Government of Ghana terminated NABCO programme on the 1st of September, 2022.
NABCO beneficiaries are now home and jobless.
Many believe it will increase the unemployment rate as well as increasing crime.
Speaking with Agyenkwa fm’s Obofo Michael, Mr. Marfo said, there is no doubt the move by the government will bleed criminalities the beneficiaries are left to roam on the streets as their colleagues.
He said the idea was good but the end is poor.
Chairman Kofi Marfo elaborated that, Ghanaian Youths are not safe under this current Government as the Government has no proper or future plans for them.
Thus, calling on the people especially the youth to dump both NPP, NDC come 2024 and vote for LPG.
