The Constituency Chairman of Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region has been installed as Nkosuohene.

NDC Chairman installed Nkosuohene of Aboabo Kese

The NDC constituency chairman of Atwima Kwanwoma and former Assembly member for Aboabo Kese, Mr Simon Alonga has been installed as the Nkosuohene (Development Chief) of the Aboabo Kese Traditional area in the Ashanti Region.

Under the stool name Nana Kofi Ahuntahnu I, Mr Alonga was taken through the customary rites by the Chief of Aboabo kese, Nana Osei Kwame II.

Nana Osei Kwame II explained that the NDC Chairman deserved to be honoured because he undertook massive developmental projects in the area since he came there.

Speaking at a durbar held in honour of the Chairman and former Assembly member, Nana Osei Kwame II lauded Mr Alonga for ensuring that every corner of the community benefitted from some form of development during his tenure as an Assembly member.

He said development was the backbone of every progressive Community and, therefore, urged everybody in the community to help Mr Alonga to implement what he described as “the massive development” programme.

For his part, the former Assembly member and current constituency chairman for the NDC expressed his appreciation to the chief and people of Aboabo kese for the honour bestowed on him.

He said he would do his best to brought development in the area.

He said his vision is to implement inclusive and sustainable development that cut across all stakeholders and parts of the community.

His policies, he said, would develop a workable, sustainable and progressive development that would benefit all and not just a few individuals.
