Gov’t is committed to completing all road projects in Jaman South Municipality

The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Jaman South Municipality in the Bono Region, Hon. Andrews Bediako affectionately called ‘Andy-young’ has disclosed that NPP government is committed to complete all projects especially roads in Jaman South Municipality and that constituents should have confidence in the Nana ADDO led government.

In an exclusive interview on Jaman radio morning show, hosted by Alhaji Gausu, the indefatigable MCE revealed that despite the challenges posed by covid-19, the government is still committed to complete the Drobo-Japekrom township roads and other roads which was given to contract under the ausprises of the then former MP, Hon. Yaw Afful.

He also disclosed that although the former MP was voted out from power he is still working closely behind the scenes to ensure that all the township roads and other roads which was awarded during his reigned are completed.

In response to abandoned projects in the Municipality, Hon Andrews Bediako further disclosed that, when he assumed office as MCE he has decided to complete all projects which date back to President KUFFOR’s time including the opposition party, NDC’s era.

However, the astute local governance expert, also added that, previous Administration were not able to attend Assembly meeting for the past one year and also an allowance of ¢50 which was to be given to the assembly members were in arrears.

He said, when he assumed office as MCE, through his innovative ideas to generate enough IGF (Internally Generated Fund) he has been able to pay the allowances to the assembly members and even increase it to 100%.

He finally urged all the elephant family to unite and work together to enable the NPP break the 8.
