JUST IN: COCOBOD WORKERS THREATEN DEMO OVER 20 MONTHS ARREARS
Some workers of Cocobod have threatened demo over their 20 months arrears.
Rehabilitation farmers Populary know as weeding labourers across the country have expressed disappointment in government, and cocobod for their failure to pay their one year, eight months salary.
“Our members were recruited in Batches. The First batch was recruited in NOVEMBER 2021 and had since not being paid.
The Association chairman, Mr Joseph Afrifa, appealed to COCOBOD and government on behalf of the weeding labourers across the nation to settle the arrears to help improve the efficiency of their work.
He said, failure on the parts of Government and Cocobod will compel them to demonstrate.
