A/R: Kidnapped Student rescued at Atwima Akrofrom (Images)
Eleven year old girl(student) kidnapped at Atwima Akrofrom in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region has been rescued by a good Samaritan.
Sources from the girl’s family told Filasconews.com that, the student (name withheld) was returning from school last week when two young men kidnapped her.
One eye witness, Mr. Yaw Owusu also said, they kidnapped the young girl, tied her legs and blind folded her.
They kept her in an uncompleted room near Methodist Church at Akrofrom and left, awaiting to be killed at night.
Fortunately for the young girl, her sobbing caught the hearing of a passerby, who went to the room and saw her tied with white clothes while sitting on a red cloth on the ground.
The good Samaritan blew alarm and the nearby townfolks came to her rescue.
After being rescued, the young girl recollected that, when she was returning from school on that fateful day, two young men grabbed her on the way and covered her mouth and face with the white cloth.
The case had since been reported to the Nkawie Police for investigation.
