All about NPP’s National Delegates Conference (Winners, Losers,%)
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) held their National Delegates Conference in the country’s capital, Accra at the Ohene Gyan’s Sports Stadium on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
The conference was to elect party executives for the battle ahead of the party, i.e 2024 General Election.
The fierce battle was between the incumbent General Secretary, Mr. John Boadu and aspirant, Lawyer Justin Frimpong Koduah.
The Chairmanship position also had heavy weight party gurus contesting including the 5th time aspirant, Mr. Stephen Ntim.
There were shocks after the results. Some favoured candidates have lost to their silent opponents.
The surprising part was the General Secretary position, many tipped Mr. John Boadu but it turned otherwise as Lawyer Justin Kodua beats him in the race.
Mr. Stephen Ayensu Ntim also pulled surprise after 5 failed attempts to become the party’s National Chairman.
This time, Mr. Ntim won against Four strong contenders after the incumbent, Mr. Freddie Blay stepped down.
