IMF: “Government can’t use LEAVES to pay you” – Ghanaians told
Governance Expert and Social Policy Analyst, the Government should be allowed to go to the IMF to seek help in support of the economy.
According to Mr. Kojo Asiamah Addo in an interview on Kumasi based Silver FM’s Omanbapa Morning Show hosted by Nana Kwabena Ampratwum, the economy is in a mess hence the government need support from IMF.
Mr. Addo accepted the fact that, the government failed to protecting the public purse but asked the public to allow them go to the International Monetary Fund for help.
He said, “If currently you don’t want the government to go to the IMF, what do you expert the government to use to pay public workers?
Do you want the government to use leaves to pay you?, the Policy Analyst added on the show monitored by Filasconews.com
He disclosed that it is about high time politicians take the country serious and manage the economy well in order to avoid continuous seeking of help from international bodies.
