Sad News: Bar operator stabbed to death in Ashanti Region(PHOTOS)

A Bear Bar operator has met his untimely demise over land dispute at Adum-Afrancho in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.

According to the report gathered by Filasconews.com in an anonymous interview with some residents, group of men attacked the disease, stabbing him in the process over land dispute.

The incident occured on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

The suspect, Kwadwo Brefo during altercation removed knife and stabbed his victim, Kwame Yeboah, a bear bar operator to death.

At least people have been arrested by the police in connection with the murder and the chaos.

There have been land dispute in Adum-Afrancho for some times now.

Meanwhile, some residents have accused the Chief of the Community and the police for indulging the act.

According to the people, the Chief and the police personnel stationed at the place fuel chaos in the community.

They alleged that the Chief uses heavily built men known as ‘Machomen’ to intimidate the people with the aid of the police.

Adding that, they are now living in fears under reign of the Adum-Afrancho Chief.

They say they now have no confidence in the police explaining that, the police is in conivance with the Chief.

A resident who witnessed the horrific incident alleged that, a police officer, handed his amour vest and knife to his brother, Brefo to stab the decease, Kwame Yeboah.

The peeved residents are calling on the Ashanti Monarch, Otumfour Osei Tutu (ii) intervene and help the people by advising the their Chief.

They have also called on the Ashanti Regional Police Command to call heir men in the Community to order before things get escalated.

There is heavy security presence in the community.
