” You Have No Right To Lash WrongDoers” – Constitutional Lawyer On Wa Naa’s Order
A Constitutional Lawyer, George Kofi Bekai has stated that, the Overlord of Wa, Wa Naa can’t order his men to flog WrongDoers publicly under the state’s law.
Two young lovers were flogged at the forecourt of Wa Naa’s Palace in the full glare of the people for engaging in se_xual act and filming themselves for public consumption.
They were tied to an erected metal pillar and given strong lashes under the order of Wa Naa.
Each received Ten (10) lashes.
Reacting to the issue on Omanbapa Morning Show on Silver FM in Kumasi hosted by Nana Kwabena Ampratwum, monitored by Filasconews.com today, Thursday, June 2, 2022, Lawyer Bekai said, it was wrong for the Chief to go to that tangent by ordering his men to doing that.
