A Lecturer and a Political Analyst has stated after keen observation that, the grounds are fertile for the incumbent Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party.
According to the Historian and Government Lecturer, Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has lost touch with the grassroots in the region.
He said the abysmal performance of the incumbent has accounted for that and the people are calling for a new face.
Giving his submission on SILVERFM’s morning show-Omanbapa hosted by NANA KWABENA AMPRATWUM, MR. CLEMENT ACHEAMPONG opined that, Wontumi did not do well for the people in the region as a chairman of a ruling party.
“He lost touch on the ground because he has failed to help people and the region as a whole”, he added monitored by FILASCONEWS.COM.
He said, Ashanti Region being the world bank of the Elephant’s party ought to be benefited when in power but, it is otherwise.
He is of the view that, looking at the grounds, change in Chairmanship position in the Ashanti Region is bound to happen.
