VERY SAD: Pupils, Residents Stranded As Their Only Bridge Collapses(VIDEO,CONTACT)

Residents of at least Four communities are stranded as their only source of movement to neighbouring communities collapsed.

The following communities, Aduman, Aduamoa, Aboabogya and Kodie have all been cut off.

A visit to the community on May 5, 2022, by FILASCONEWS.COM witnessed large number of residents and drivers stranded, with their vehicles parked outskirt of the road due to the collapse.

Including school children, they were all stranded.

The bridge connects Aduamoa, Kodie, Aduman, Aboabogya etc. all in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti Region.

The bridge caved in after a heavy downpour on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Currently, the road has become a death trap for all who ply on it especially school children.

Hon. Augustine Anokye Asiamah, the Assembly member for Aduman Electoral Area reacting to the issue said, it is dire and they need immediate intervention to save it from escalating.

He said, all efforts by the community to get the problem addressed, yielded no result as authorities have refused their mandated task.
