Ohwim Residents Lament Incessant Robbery Attacks
The Residents of Ohwim in the Bantama Constituency of the Ashanti Region are crying over rampant robbery attacks in their community.
Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, with Silver FM’s reporter, Akwadaa Nyame, the people said a day would not pass without robbery attack in the Ohwim Community.
They lamented during the interview monitored by filasconews.com that, all efforts to getting the security agencies curb the situation have proven futile.
“When you complain to the police, specifically, Bohyen and Asuofua police, they ask you to go and arrest the culprit and bring him/her to the police”, some residents told Akwadaa Nyame.
Others also opined that, ” Sometimes, the police will tell to monitor the movement of the rascal after reporting an incident to them”.
However, the Unit Committee Chairman of Ohwim Mr. Boniface Addai said, he has not being a victim or witness to the residents account against the police but confirmed the rampant terrorising of residents by robbers.
