Give Full Scholarship To All Tertiary Students Studying Agriculture – KsTU Lecturer
A Lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University lng. Dr . Prince Owusu Ansah has appealed to the Nana Addo lead government to make it in full scholarship for all students studying agriculture in the various tertiary education institutions within the country.
Ing.Dr. Ansah who is the deputy dean faculty of engineering technology and HOD Automotive and Agricultural Mechanisation engineering made this appeal on Asanteman Dawuro morning show hosted by Sir Mike on Monday.
The engineer said most developed countries took much interest in Agriculture and believe it’s high time government of Ghana considers making Agric it’s prority.
He again advised the youth to enter into this venture since most successful businessmen are into farming.
Ing. Dr. Ansah said the the Automotive and Agricultural Mechanisation Engineering program has been introduced by KsTU to help training the youth and existing farmers to enable them farm in commercial scale.
He used the platform to thank the government for his support to his departement and the university and pledge their willingness to help improve Agriculture in the country through proper training of modern methods.
