The Lives of the People of Asafo in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly are at risk as Electricity High Tension poses threat to the people.
A heavy Coconut tree has fell on the Power pole, causing it wires to falling in the numerous houses surrounding it.
The Assembly Member of the Area, Hon. Ernest Okai, speaking to the issue on a Kumasi Based radio, Silver FM said, all efforts to get ECG to addressing the issue have proven futile.
He said, ” I called to come and address the situation because people’s lives are at risk.
When they came, they asked me to look for something and remove the Coconut tree from the high voltage pole”.
It was like a dream to the Assembly Member on the Omanbapa Morning show on Silver FM.
But the ECG staffs left after that.
As at the time of filling this report, 5:09PM, Thursday, March 10, 2022, the death situation is still there.
