Founder and leader of Word of Life Assemblies of God church at Sepaase in the Atwima Nwabiagya south district of Ashanti region Rev Lawrence Inkoom has made a statement that, General Kotoka’s name should be removed from our international airport and praise Dr Kwame Nkrumah for his contribution towards the development of the country and stop disgracing him with “Kankan Nyame ” issues.
Speaking with our reporter Nana Yaw Peprah, he mentioned that, those who always speak against Nkrumah and saying he brought an idols called “Kankan Nyame” which was protecting the nation and no one is caring for them after his death that’s why the nation is suffering but there’s no truth in it but the problem is about Kotoka who killed many innocent peoples and still has named our international airport which is the gateway to the country and his name must be removed.
He explained further that, the evil spirit that led him to kill the innocent peoples still dwell with his name and be manipulating investors when they get there.
He called on leadership to change the name of the airport and honor Dr Kwame Nkrumah to ensure development.
