NDC will sing a victory song after 2024 elections – Wassa Amenfi East MP hints

The member of Parliament for Wassa Amenfi East Constituency of the Western region, hon. Nicholas Amankwah has said that the NDC is optimistic of winning the December Presidential and Parliamentary elections as all indicators shows that the NDC is a better option.

The MP’s revelation came after his Party ended its Branch Elections to select competent, energetic, and more dedicated party people from branch level to steer the affairs of the Party for victory.

The opposition party finished its branch elections successfully on 7th August, 2022, awaiting the constituency and regional polls.

The polls in Wassa Amenfi East Constituency began on 31st July and ended on 7th August,2022.

Nicholas Amankwah in a statement to congratulate the new Branch Executives, the MP used the opportunity to commend the Party faithfuls and the national hierarchies for supervising free and fair elections especially in Wassa Amenfi East Constituency.

“I am grateful to God first and foremost, then to all Stakeholders and Executives, from the branch level to the national level, for the successful and peaceful election of Branch Executives in my constituency, Wassa Amenfi East.”

The MP brags that the National Democratic Congress delivered in terms of infrastructure for the country under erstwhile former President Mahama’s administration and its opponent, the governing New Patriotic Party has underperformed contrary to their claim of being better managers of the economy.

To achieve a sounding victory come 2024 elections, the NDC MP implored members of the umbrella family to substitute their personal interest with the party’s leadership as they organize a nationwide internal elections.

Home Boy, as popularly known, however called on them to work hard in unity to consolidate the party’s gains to enable it to win the 2024 general elections.

“I urge the newly elected executives and the entire membership of the NDC that we have a charge to keep. Come election 2024, inshallah, we shall sing the victory song” he wrote.
