JUST IN: Teacher Ran Over And Killed By Truck At Mpasaaso
A man, believed to be in his early 60s has died after wood laden truck ran over him at Mpasaaso No2 in the Ahafo Ano South West of the Ashanti Region.
The victim, Teacher Wiase, was a member of the task force monitoring transportation of woods to and from the area.
Yesterday day, at about 8:25pm, the deceased together with his colleagues went to the bush and mounted a check point on the bush road where the trucks ply.
Unfortunately, the suspect driver, failed to stop when Teacher stood in the middle of the road, signaling him to stop.
He ran over him and sped off.
He died instantly.
However, the assembly member of the area, Hon. Charles K. Asare and other witnesses, Appease have confirmed the incident to filasconews.com.
