NPP: Manhyia North Constituency on fire as plot to eliminate some people backfires(HOT VIDEO)

After going through a period of higher educational reforms, Ghanaian Public Universities are now being challenged to determine their future survival.
Understanding the challenges facing the Universities is one step forward in the development of the right strategic decisions. Unfortunately, Government seem not to understand those challenges, hence no commitment on their part.

On Monday 7th January, 2022, the University Teachers Association of Ghana(UTAG)declared a strike due to government ‘s failure to address the conditions of service of lecturers. According to UTAG, government has breached the timelines agreed for resolution.

Our problem as a party now is Adwoa Sarfo- NPP MP throws bomb(HOT VIDEO&AUDIO)

It may interest you to note that UTAG has15 member branches which are public universities across the country. You can just imagine how students in our public Universities are suffering but government is not showing any sign of commitment. All promises to tertiary groups like UTAG has failed. For God sake, UTAG is only requesting for improvement in their conditions of service.

What is shocking and unbelievable is that the National Labour Commission for Ghana sued the teachers who are on strike and went ahead to describe the strike action as illegal. This is nonsense. UTAG’s intention to strike had been in the public domain from the middle of 2021,yet the NLC had not been proactive in resolving the issues particularly with regards to the government’s obligations to UTAG.

When the president of Ghana and his allies are renting aeroplanes and paying almost 20,000 dollars an hour. When the president increased his salary by 79%. When the president almost paid the first and second ladies so much back pay. When the government is strangely buying past questions at the cost of 68 million Ghana cedis for students.

This is why men should sleep nak3d

When the convoy that follows the president is about 45 and many other sad moments. Who can say that there is no money to improve conditions of service for tertiary institutions. The National Labour Commission must shut up.

The Ministry of Education has disgracefully said that it did not expect UTAG to declare industrial strike action since it has negotiated and signed documents that bind them. The fact is that, this government keeps promising but never fulfils it. This means there is no commitment so what do you expect ,Ministry of Education?

UTAG IS HERE.
TUSAAG IS PLANNING.
CLOGSAG OOOO CLOGSAG.
CETAG WILL HIT THE ROAD VERY SOON.
ALL others are lacing their boots.
The Fair Wages and Salary Commission must sit up. The Ministry of Education should be serious for once.
The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, for the first time must be truthful to the good people of Ghana. The government must show commitment in all of these.
