A newly built Roundabout in Kumasi has been named after Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom (III).

The Fifth anniversary of the death of of former Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem (II) is slated to commence on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, the mother of Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, died in November, 2016, at age 109.
The ceremony, would also celebrates the new Queenmother, Nana Konadu Yiadom, who succeeded her mother, the late Queen, Nana Afia Kobi.
On February 16, Asantehene will hold a durbar in honour of the late Queen Mother at Dwabrem, Manhyia.
Base on this, the Queen Mother of the traders in the Ashanti Region, Nana Kyeiwaa, together with her executives have erected a very nice and a well decorated modern day Roundabout at Race Course market in honour of Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
The name of the roundabout, according to the traders Queen is: Nana Konadu Yiadom RoundAbout.
She revealed this in an interview with the press today, during the unveiling of the colourful bill board erected with a beautiful picture of the Queenmother, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
