Many young people are willing to do anything no matter how barbaric and heinous in order to make quick money.
A new example is an 18-year-old man who lured his girlfriend to his building, murdered, and beheaded her for money rituals. He did this with the help of his friends.
According to LIB, the three young boys, aged 17 to 20, were apprehended in the early hours of Saturday, January 29, 2022, by men from the Ogun State Police Command. Wariz Oladehinde, 17, Abdul Gafar Lukman, 19, and Mustakeem Balogun, 20, were all arrested as a result of information received at Adatan divisional headquarters from the head of community security guard, that the suspects were seen burning something suspected to be human head in a local pot.
Following the information, SP Abiodun Salau, DPO Adatan division, quickly led his detectives to the scene, where the three suspects were apprehended. Soliu Majekodumi, the murdered girl’s boyfriend, was apprehended after fleeing the scene.
During interrogation, the arrested suspects admitted that what they were burning in the local pot was the head of their accomplice’s girlfriend. They also admitted that the girl, simply known as Rofiat, was lured by her boyfriend, simply known as Soliu, to a location where she was murdered by four of them, after which they cut off her head and packed the remains in a sack and dumped it in an old building.
