Nana Gyapa II, Krontihene of Sekyedumase Traditional Council together with his people have vowed that, Nananom and their people will not hesitate to handle the menace of fulani herdmen on their land in their own way if the powers that be fail to address the matter.

Nana Gyapa, in an exclusive interview with a journalist, Asona Dehyie Kwarteng today urged the authorities to as a matter of urgency nab the issue in the bud in order to bring relief to the dwellers, mostly farmers.

“MCE for the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality, MP, Ejura Police Commander, Traditional leaders, Mampong Divisional Police Commander and Ashanti Regional police Commander, please help curb the issues of fulani herdsmen activity’s on our lands once and for all”, Nana worriedly appealed.

He added that, farmers in the area have massively involved in the Government’s policy, planting for food and jobs but the herdsmen have destroyed their investment with their animals and are also killing other.

“We can’t live with this on our own lands, if no action is being taken by the authorities, we have our own way”, he stressed.

Nana finally warned chiefs behind the activities of the herdsmen and making money out of it to have a change of mind else….. they would be dealt with if caught by Nananom.

“You will loose your seat if your caught behind the activities of the herdsmen”, he opined.
