A/R: Police respond to the alleged daylight robbery video, key figures asked to report themselves to the police
The Ashanti Regional Police Command have responded to a video circulating on social media in which it’s purported that a daylight robbery has taken place at Bantama in Kumasi.
The command says it want to State on record that there was not a daylight robbery as being purported in the video which is on circulation.
It is however noted that the said video is actually a music video that was short by one King Waab , where some motor riding persons were seen in the music nabbing him of his personal effects.
It is the said video that some mischievous person have decided to circulate to create an impression that there was a daylight robbery at Bantama ostensibly to create fear and panic.
Accordingng to the command it has taken serious view of the music video and has commenced investigation into it and is entreating the musician and his director to report to the Regional Police Command to assist in that regard. ASP Godwin Ahianyo speaks for the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
