Mr General Secretary, please do not wait till a petition is filed against Abronye DC, the Bono Regional Chairman. Call him to order before he causes more havoc to the supreme interest of the New Patriotic party.
Abronye DC led the Party into the 2020 elections with 11 parliamentary seats and we lost 5 of the seats to the NDC because of his usual spreeing and insults on the PARAMOUNT Chiefs and Queens, Regional chief Imam, the Clergy, government appointees including the MMDCE’s, Party members etc
This is dangerous as he learns no lessons from the defeat of the party where in 2020 the results in Bono came to 50-50 for the NDC and the NPP.
He has no modicum of respect in the chair he is occupying and he has no appreciation for the chairmanship. We have seen leaders of the Party in the Region before when it was even 29 Constituencies. They performed very well especially the likes of Chairman Kwadwo Fordjour, His Excellency Lawyer Kwaku Asomah- Cheremeh ,and to mention Hon Kwadwo Adjei Darko etc
Today, there is fire at the Bono Regional secretariat over the appointment of the Deputy Organizer and the Financial secretary.
Again, because of his machinations No polling station Executives Elections and Electoral areas Coordinators Elections have been conducted in the Sunyani East and Jaman South Constituencies and there has been Court injunctions on those Constituencies till date.
In the case of the Sunyani East Constituency for instance, the injunction by the High Court, Sunyani, is to the effect that the purported polling station Executives and Electoral area Coordinators Album be deleted from the National database of the New Patriotic Party.
Also, he has sidelined about 70% of the Regional communication team members and insulting them on watsap platforms and this has created a sharp division among the communication team including the serial callers.
He has maligned and insulted the Regional council of Elders. He does not see eye to eye with his own Bono Regional council of Elders’ Chairman, Mr Kofi James KYEREMEH.
The Busia Tradition is not for such characters to lead whereby by conduct the Chairman makes the party so repulsive and unattractive.
The objective question is that; On okay Fm, he now casts insinuations against The President and his Vice president and so whom again does he respect in the party?
We should not keep quiet of his poor behaviour of using bad language on radio “where people salute the President “ this is unguarded and thereby lowers the reputation of the President.
Nobody is talking about it because of Abronye’s intransigent behaviour. He will insult whoever talks about his chaotic leadership style.
I beg to state that those supporting him to misbehave in this case should advise themselves and refrain from given any support to him and redirect all support to a strategic team for the work else we risk the 6 seats in our basket as he failed to perform leading the reduction from 11 to 6 seats.
Now the hang parliament should tell us that such conduct of Abronye should not be entertained.
I beg of the leadership of the Party to bring Abronye DC to order else things will get worse and out of hand.
How do we break or how can we break the 8 with Abronye’s conduct in Bono Region? In the interest of the party which is so supreme he should be dealt with in a manner that will ensure victory 2024.
We those in Bono Region know him better and we cannot be deceived by his antics unless those in Kumasi and Accra who do not know him very well.
To say the least, His public utterances both locally and nationally do not depict any leadership skill and acumen bereft of strategic reasoning to plan for 2024 to salvage the party in Bono and to redeem the lost seats.
I humbly and respectfully suggest that other Senior members be brought on board to be part of the management of the party in the Region to ensure Victory in 2024.
It is about time we spoke against his poor leadership ways of managing the Party.
Please, may the National Council take this matter up together with other issues like unconstitutional suspension of Party Members who were never given fair hearing not only in Bono but Ahafo and Bono East and all over the Country and address them now. l suggest that we look at all such issues and bring back into our fold such people /persons with their followers , families as politics is about numbers.
Finally, all those sitting on the fence for the fact they went on lndependent or attempted to have gone independent should be made to return to the party to help win 2024.
