Just in: Tension in NDC as Communications Director accuses party Chairman over insanity

The Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the Chairman of the party, for allegedly masterminding an agenda against the former President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2024 general election.

According to the Director of Communications of the party, should Mr. Mahama loses the 2024 election, the party Chairman must be blamed.

Speaking to the press today, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, the Communications Director stated that, all the members in the NDC are in support of the candidature of JDM but the Chairman of the party, is indulging Mr. Kwabena Duffour to distabilise the peaceful atmosphere in the party.

He opined that, the Chairman is moving rounds with the former Finance Minister, seeking to beat Mr. Mahama in the party’s flagbearer race, asking party members, mostly candidates to endorse the candidature of Mr. Duffour during the election time.

He elaborated that, during the 2020 election which endorsed the second term of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, as the President of the Republic, the chairman did not campaigned for Mahama as well as the NDC party.

But, he’s now roaming with Mr. Duffour to win votes for him, which to Alhaji Abdul Wahab, the Deputy Communications Director of the NDC in Akyem Abuakwa North Constituency, the Chairman of the party in the Eastern Region, Mr. John Amankrah popularly known as Jowak is against John Dramani Mahama and wants the party lose 2024 election.

Meanwhile, the accused Chairman has debunked the allegations saying, it carries no weight and should be disregard by all people.
