A/R: Three communities in dire need of water, teachers accommodation support

Fufuni, Dabaa and Kokotiesua communities, all under Fufuni electoral area in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region are crying for help.

To the residents in the various communities, water scarcity a major challenge in the area.

They revealed that, their only source of borehole work only hours daily. After two hours, they are compelled to source water from gutters and other holes with stagnant water.

Speaking on behalf of the people today, Friday, January 7, 2022 in an interview with Filasco Degeneral, the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Hayford Peprah affirmed the water scarcity in the communities.

He also added that, teachers accommodation is another problem they are facing as teachers have to walk on foot for about 2-3 miles daily to school.

Hon. Hayford is therefore calling on the government and other NGOs to com to their aid.
