A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Odwira Child Care Foundation (OCCF) on Christmas festive, out smiles on the faces of over 40 persons living with disability at Tepa.
The NGO, as part of their annually responsibilities, eats with especially children with special needs in the country to motivate and make them feel part of the society.
On Monday, December 27, 2021, at about 1pm, OCCF celebrated the festive season with the Children with Special needs and persons with disabilities at Tepa.
The program was held at the Tepa community center.
They sung, drink, eat and dance to lovely tunes to entertaining the people.
Numerous items were distributed freely for the physically challenged persons including other community members who were not disabled.
Rice, oil, drinks, mackerel, tomato paste, shoes, clothes, food and many more were given to the PWDs and the other beneficiaries who were not disable.
According to the CEO of the Organisation who doubles as a professional nurse at KATH, Mrs. Vicentia Williams in an interview with Filasco DeGeneral, OCCF will not relent on their efforts to supporting persons with disabilities in the society adding that it is looking forward to extending their support to other deprived localities as well.
She used the occasion to thank every individual who supported OCCF and made their program a successful one.
