How a ‘coleman’ saved over 20 passengers from dying in an accident at Bantama

A Sprinter bus with Registration number, GC 3025 Z loaded with over Twenty (20) passengers was saved by an ice water container (Coleman) at Bantama in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly of the Ashanti Region.

At about 11:15am today, December 10, 2021, Friday, passengers in the said sprinter vehicle nearly lost lives when the breaks of the vehicle failed at Gee RoundAbout descending the hill to Soldier off Kumasi – Obuasi road.

The aged driver of the speeding vehicle without break tried his possible best to stop the deadly situation but the machine wheeled off from the road after hitting one other taxi cab ahead of him.

The sprinter then headed into a deadly deep pit in between Action Senior High School and Medlab- Nimo Pharmacy buildings.

For God always loves his sons, a rejected water Coleman dumped on the road and used as a blockade to prevent trotros from parking saved the national morning from happening.

The sprinter hit the container and the small container quickly pushed under the right front tyre forcing a break at an inch before the car could fall into the pit.

A young man by name Ernest Anim, one of the passengers who jumped from the car whiles moving told Filasco DeGeneral after the incident that, all the 23 passengers in the vehicle lost hope and started praying to their maker to save their souls.

But luckily them and Ghana as well, God used a rejected ice water Coleman to stop the no-break sprinter bus from moving.

Ernest Anim disclosed that, they board the vehicle at Kejetia and were heading to Manso and its environs.

The MTTD officials at the round about have taken note of the situation and the passengers offered a new transport to their various destinations.
