We were expecting ¢3-¢4 reduction on fuel- GPRTU’s Eric Asirifi worried

A National Executive Member of Ghana Private Roads and Transport Union (GPRTU), Mr. Eric Asirifi has stated that, the Union was at least expecting a GH¢3 to GH¢4 reduction on fuel prices.
Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) has reduced their fuel price after government directed them to do so.
15pesewas has been cut off from the previous amount of fuel at the GOIL pumps pegging the current price at GH¢6.7 per litre.
The reduction took effect on Tuesday, December 7,2021 accross all GOIL pumps in the country.
Reacting to the development on Omanbapa Morning Show on Wednesday, December 8,2021, Mr. Eric Asirifi wasn’t much enthused about the reduction figure.
He told the host Nana Ampratwum during the interview today monitored by filasconews that, “we were expecting 3 cedis to 4 cedis reduction of fuel or at least 2.5 cedis from the government”.
