The erstwhile overall District Best Farmer in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District, Mr. Isaac Agyiri has placed a courtesy call on the new awardees in the just ended national farmers day celebration who have just assumed office as overall District Best farmers in the various districts across the country to use their office to promote Agribusiness.
Mr. Agyiri popularly known as Showboy, who handed over to the 2021 winner, has urged his fellows to work hard in order to attract bigger recognitions.
He added that, they should not relax on the district award won but rather have a vision beyond just an aim.
Showboy also encouraged the upcoming farmers to work tirelessly in order to get to the top as they are desiring and advised the youth to get rid of the ancient perception on farming as an occupation only for the aged and venture into it to meet ends meet.
He finally called on government and COCOBOD to raise the standard of the national farmers day celebration by awarding winners especially district winners with expensive and vital items such as Pickups vehicles and others to boost their moral and that of others who want to engage in Agriculture.
