filasconews

The Founder and Leader of Life of Christ Power Ministry International at Ejisu-Manhyia, Reverend Emmanuel Kwadwo Kusi has stated categorically that, the LGBTQI+ campaigners have a mental illness and need medical attention.

He added that, stupidity is at its peak as some of the well-known Professors keep on fighting against the anti LGBTQI Bill.

Rev. Kusi says the practice is not a fundamental human rights and it should not be entertained in the country.

He made this known in an interview with the press today, reiterated and called on the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to address Ghanaians on his stance.

His comment comes after the sponsors of the anti-Lesbain Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Bill in Parliament asserted that activities of the LGBTQ+ community are a threat to the family construction of Ghanaians.

This also follows the resumption of public hearings on memoranda submitted for and against the promotion of proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values bill.

Addressing the committee on Monday, November 29, 2021, one of the proponents of the anti- LGBTQ+ Bill and MP for Ningo Prampram, Sam George, asserted that sexual orientation is not a fundamental Human Right and therefore, Article 12 (1), of the constitution cannot be used to reject the bill.

The Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice, CHRAJ, called for alternative sanctions in criminalizing the activities of LGBTQ+.

But Rev. Emmanuel Kwadwo Kusi explained further that, if the Members of the 8th Parliament refuse to pass the Bill he will organise a nationwide demonstration.
