A youth wing within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is calling on the party hierarchy to settle any differences with the Former Gender Minister, Hon. Afisa Otiko Djaba to active politics.
According to the group called; Concerned NPP for victory 2024 (# break the 8 #) has called on the National Executives to bring the Former Minister back into the party to resume her position.
Mr Yeboah Eric Kingsford, the Public Relations Officer for the group, Madam Afisa is matured in politics and is a deep rooted Politician who knows how to mobilize and unite grassroots of the party and neutral people to help the NPP maintain power.
In an interview with the media today, November 26,2021, Mr. Kingsford believes Mrs. Otiko’s involvement in the party will reignite the relaxed party members and Ghanaians who have lost hope to join the party.
“We believe Madam Afisa coming back into active politics and becoming active member of the NPP party again will make the “break the ‘8’ mantra”.
Looking at her services as a Former Gender Minister, the group says she worked vigorously to improve and raised the bar of the sector adding that, since she left the ministry, especially school feeding program has collapsed.
They are therefore calling on the party Executives to as a matter of urgency bring back Otiko Afisa Djaba.
