Five KOSS students remanded, to reappear on Nov. 15

Emmanuel Frimpong and Four (4) other accomplices have been remanded into juvenile police custody today, November 8, 2021 by the Konongo Odumase District Court for allegedly stabbing to death a first year student of the Konongo Odumase Senior High School (KOSS), Larhan Sam-Una to death.

The court presided over by Her Worship Joyce Bamfo. She refused to the plea of the accused persons by their lawyer, Richard Adu Darko to grant them bail.

They suspects have therefore been sent to the Juaso Juvinile Detention Center at Asante Akyem South to reappear in court on Monday, November 15,2021.

Meanwhile the police in Konongo say they are yet to officially charge the suspects.

The Konongo Divisional Police Commander, Chief Supt. Shaibu Abubakar is optimistic the will work hard to fast track the process to get judgement as soon as possible.

*ABOUT THE STORY*

Emmanuel Frimpong with his accomplices on Friday November 5, 2021 after prep in the Konongo Odumase Senior High School (KOSS) stormed the house three of the school’s domitory which contains first years to bully them.

Through the process, the deceased, Larhan Sam-Una attempted to prevent Frimpong from attacking a colleague with kitchen knife but got stab in the process by the suspect.

He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival by the medical officers on duty.
