WATCH: The full VIDEO that caused the downfall of the two Asokwa policewomen
Two police women have been interdicted over their unprofessional conduct on line of duty.
The Police administration has interdicted two Police officers PW/Inspr Martha Ackah and No. 6233 PW/Sergeant Felicia Ocran of Asokwa Divisional MTTD, Kumasi.
They were seen in a viral video acting unprofessionally. They were allegedly extorting money from a Trotro driver and mate.
In the viral video sighted by filasconews.com, one of the police officers was heard saying, “5 Ghana cedis is too small….. either you increase it or we will take you to Asokwa police station”.
She added, ” We are even considering you”.
You can see from the video how the two female officers were aggressive and forcing the driver and mate to top up the money.
After the quarrel over the 5 cedis, the driver and his mate under duress increased it to 10 Ghana cedis and gave to the officers.
The two policewomen shamefully snatched the money from the mate and headed to their station.
However, the officers have since been interdicted after the video went viral to allow for a thorough investigation into the case, in line with Police internal disciplinary procedures, after which they will be prosecuted.
