Oh! Another police officer on duty crushed to death by a speeding Toyota Vehicle
A 29 year old female police officer has been crushed to death whiles on duty at Kasoa-Apam highway checkpoint in the Central Region.
Comfort Freby was hit by a speeding Toyota vehicle with registration number, GS 4746-20 in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to the police, the driver failed to stop when he got to the checkpoint, therefore, ran into the deceased killing her on the spot.
The news has saddened officers with the Gomoa Dominase District Police Command since the barrier, they say, was established just last week after a series of robbery cases were recorded on the said highway..
Meanwhile, the Central Regional Police Commanders have visited the deceased’s home to commiserate with her husband.
