A/R: Barbers cry as most of their clients make ‘by force afro’ due to economic hardship

Some barbers in the Ashanti Region are crying over the current economic hardship in the country. The barbers are lamenting over low patronage of their service.

Speaking to the media, a barber, David Donkor, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dav Amor Hair Palace at Asenua in Kwabre East Municipality stated that, the situation has forced most of their clients to keep their hairs.

He said, most of people would want to visit the barbering shop to cut their hairs down but due to lack of money to pay for the servicing of their hairs, they have chosen to be ‘afro’.

‘Afro’ also known in Ghana as bushy hair.

He said high cost of electricity tariff has put burden on their work, therefore calling on government to work harder to reduce things.
