Boy who drown in Kantinkyire river found,deposited at morgue
Kofi Isaac, the Fifteen (15) year old boy who drown in River Kantinkyire at Jukwa-Bremang in the Central Region.
According to the father of the deceased, Mr. Daniel Baah in an interview with filasconews, his son’s body was retrieved on Sunday, November 7,2021 at the shores of the river.
Kofi Isaac,15, went to was his body in the river after playing a football game with his friends and getting himself dirty on Friday, November 5, 2021.
In order to look good and fresh, the late Kofi decided to wash up himself at the banks of the Kantinkyire river but unfortunately he fell and drown.
A search team was launched by the community leaders to find the body but to no avail.
The search team continued their work on the next day i.e Saturday, November 6, 2021 to get Kofi’s body but proved futile for the second times.
On the third day, Sunday, November 7, 2021, Nanaom poured libations to pacify the gods specifically the river and after that, the dead body of Kofi Isaac was retrieved just few meters away from where he drown.
The body has since been conveyed by the police in Jukwa and deposited at Interbet Hospital’s morgue for preservation and autopsy whiles investigation ongoing.
