5 Foods you should be eaten if you want to last longer

How To Get Strong in 2-3 Days a Week – Tony GentilcoreOur sex lives can be greatly impacted by our diet, and this is especially true if you want to last longer in bed. If you’re looking to prolong your sexual encounters, eat the following foods on a regular basis. Not only will they give you the energy you need to perform well in bed, but they’ll also help prevent premature ejaculation and boost your libido over time. In this article, we’ll discuss some of the best foods for having longer sex and more intense orgasms. These include avocados, nuts, seeds, ginger, figs and tea tree oil.

1) Eggs

Eggs contain zinc, which can boost sexual performance in men and women. Zinc increases blood flow to your genitals and increases your libido. A study conducted at Tehran University of Medical Sciences found that premenopausal women who consumed nine or more eggs per week had a 1.75-fold greater risk of ovulatory infertility than those who ate fewer eggs. Other research shows that, in men, eating two to four eggs a day lowers levels of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), which is linked to a higher level of testosterone. So, not only will you have stronger erections, but you’ll also be able to get them for longer!

2) Potatoes

Carbohydrates are critical for sexual function. In fact, scientists have been able to induce anorgasmia in rats by restricting their diet to a low-carbohydrate one. A study of 20 healthy women showed that eating a large baked potato immediately before sex delayed orgasm in some of them (while, on average, speeding it up by about 25 seconds). A theory is that potatoes boost sexual performance because they’re rich in potassium and because they contain high levels of arginine—an amino acid that helps get blood pumping into erectile tissue. For real? Yes—and while you’re at it, add more whole grains, beans and nuts to your diet.

3) Dark chocolate

One study, published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine, reported that women who eat more chocolate have a significantly higher likelihood of getting orgasms than those who don’t eat as much. That’s because dark chocolate increases blood flow to your nether regions by dilating your blood vessels. And we all know what increased blood flow means—increased arousal. Who knew eating chocolate could help us get it on?

4) Almonds

A study published in July 2015 in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that eating almonds, one handful at a time, increased sexual arousal in women. Researchers believe it’s because almonds contain L-arginine, an amino acid that naturally helps boost blood flow to your nether regions—especially if you’re performing for more than 30 minutes. There’s just one caveat: Almonds have a higher fat content than other nuts, so if you don’t eat them alongside a healthy protein or carb source (like whole grain bread or fruit), they can make you feel bloated. Skip straight to dessert and nibble on whole (not chopped) raw almonds to get their benefits without experiencing any tummy trouble.

5) Oysters

Oysters are a great source of zinc, which is important for both sperm motility and quality. A study conducted at Wilkes University found that men who ate 50 milligrams of zinc per day (which amounts to just two medium-sized oysters) had almost 50 percent higher sperm counts than those who didn’t consume zinc at all. Another bonus? Oysters may have an aphrodisiac effect; according to some research, they contain a compound similar to serotonin, which has been shown to improve mood and promote feelings of love. Just don’t overdo it—overeating oysters can be bad for your health!
