SAD NEWS: Man Dies after drowning in River at Adumasa(CONTACT)
A man, yet to be identified has died after drowning in a river.
The sadden incident happened at Adumasa in the Akatago Electoral area in the Ashanti Region on June 18, 2022.
The Assembly Member for the electoral area, Hon. Enchil Charles has confirmed the news to Filasconews.com.
Narrating the incident, the Honourable Member said, the body of the yet to be identified man was discovered by a resident at the bank of a river at Adumasa.
The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed as some residents claim he might be a stranger.
The body had since been conveyed by the police to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The police together with the assembly man are calling on all to help in the identification of the deceased.
