KWADASO:AGRIC COLLEGE LAUNCHES 100YRS ANNIVERSARY,APPEALED FOR INFRASTRUCTURE EXPANSION

Principal of Kwadaso Agric college in the Ashanti Region Rev. Benjamin Asante Mensah has made a clarion call on government to expand its infrastructure in order to meet the accommodation needs of the increased students’ population.

According to the principal, it has become almost impossible to accommodate fresh students who will apply for admission next year due to the sizes of structures in the school.

The number of students applying to be admitted in the college has been characterized with some challenges such as inadequate student accommodations, classrooms and teachers bungalow.

Rev. Benjamin Asante Mensah revealed this to the media during the launch of 100 years anniversary of the Kwadaso Agric college today 28, October 2021.

During the launched, the principal Rev. Benjamin Asante Mensah revealed that, due to the population of the students, the school is finding it difficult to admit new students because they can not accommodate large number of students.

He then appealed to government to build structures for the school as even the school’s teachers bungalow has never seen renovation since it’s constructed.

On the part of the government, representative from ministry of food and agriculture commended the principal for been able to manage situation regardless of challenges with the limited facilities at the school and enrolled 1,000 students.

He also assured the school authorities that by the government will embark on infrastructure projects to help accommodate students and to help promote government’s agenda of ensuing quality education.
