JUST IN: One Gunned Down By Colleague At Bonsa, Several Injured(PHOTOS)
One person has been pronounced dead after galamseyers clashed at Bonsa, near Tarkwa.
Eye witness says the matter has been simmering for some times now after the MP for the area, Hon. George Mireku Duka, appointed a gang leader of one of the rival groups to take charge of the community mining in the community.
There have been several attacks amongst the groups at their various site over supremacy before the introduction of the community Mining.
“They clashed, gun fires were exchanged, stabbings, leading to the death of one”, eye witness who spoke to filasconews.com on condition of anonymity revealed.
The injured have been taken Tarkwa Municipal Hospital for treatment, whiles the dead is at the morgue.
The deceased has been by filasconews as Palaah, he was gunned down during the scuffle by Apa Paloo.
Some of the suspects have been arrested by the police and are at the hospital receiving treatment under hand-cuffs.
