A/R: Edwenease Basic School In Dire Need Of Renovation And Infrastructure Support(WATCH-VIDEO)
The Residents of Edwenease in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region have appealed to the authorities to as a matter of urgency come to their school aid.
The residents have disclosed that, the state of Edwenease Basic School serving hundreds of Pupils and their staffs is in a deplorable state and needs urgent support.
They made their appeal through Silver FM’s Akwadaa Nyame, who visited the community to today to throwing light on the challenges of the school.
Granting live interviews with some residents via a Kumasi based radio, Silver FM’s morning show, the locals said the current situation in the school is very worrying and disturbing.
On his part, the Unit Committee Chairman for Edwenease Community, Mr. George Oppong shockingly revealed that, teaching and learning are compelled to end abruptly due to the rickety nature of the roofings.
Speaking on the show monitored by filasconews this morning, Monday, March 14, 2022, at about 8:45am, Mr. George wholeheartedly entreated the government, through the MoE, GES to come to their aid by renovating and furnishing the school with new blocks.
