JUST IN: Fire destroys at least 8 shops at Hwenampori(CONTACT&VID)
At least eight shops have been razed down by fire at Bibiani Hwenampori in the Western North Region.
The unfortunate incident happened on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at about 4pm.
The unavailability of the presonnel from Ghana Service in the area, according to residents resulted in the destruction of the numerous shops.
The main cause of the fire is not immediately known, but some residents have attributed the cause to a faulted electricity pole close to the area.
Meanwhile, fire service are yet to make official statement about the incident.
