Ayariga is going to be the Majority Leader
The Minority Leader, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, has claimed that the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bawku Central, ; is going to be the new Majority Leader, following the nomination of the current leader, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, as Minister of Finance Designate.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament on Thursday, January 9, 2024, Afenyo-Markin also claimed that the MP for Cape Coast South, , is going to take over from Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah as Deputy Majority Leader, who, he said, will be appointed as Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.
The Minority Leader also alleged that the Member of Parliament for South Dayi, , is going to be the Majority Chief Whip, taking over from Kwame Governs Agbodza, who he claims will also be nominated for a ministerial position.
