“HEY! Do not appoint these people” – Prophet Oduro warns President Mahama
The founder and leader of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has sent a warning to President-elect John Dramani Mahama about some persons who will destroy his government when he appoints them into various offices in his administration.
Speaking to his church members on Sunday, Prophet Kofi Oduro stated that many people are currently lobbying for government appointments in the next NDC administration under John Mahama.
Prophet Kofi Oduro referenced a statement John Mahama made a week ago, where he revealed that after losing the 2016 elections, many people stopped visiting him. However, now that he has won the elections, those same individuals are visiting him and showering him with gifts.
Prophet Kofi Oduro described such behavior as hypocritical. He said these people are greedy and only interested in looting the country when given positions of power. He warned John Mahama not to appoint such individuals, as they could destroy his government. According to him, these individuals are only concerned about their personal interests rather than serving the people. He added that many past presidents made similar mistakes, which negatively impacted their administrations.
He emphasized that Ghana currently needs leaders who have the nation’s interests at heart.
He further added that the country requires God-fearing leaders who prioritize national development over personal gain.
This comes after John Mahama won the 2024 presidential election with 56.55% of the votes, defeating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who secured 41.66%. Mahama’s victory marks his return to the highest office in Ghana after previously serving as president from 2012 to 2017.
His win has been celebrated by supporters across the country, as they look forward to his leadership in addressing key national issues.
John Mahama will be officially sworn into office on January 7, 2025.
